Masseria Salinola – Dimora di Charme

The 17th-century Masseria Salinola awaits you in Apulia, a splendid example of a Salento fortified farm and today a charming hotel in the heart of the Trulli Valley. It rises in all its whiteness amidst the verdant hills, age-old olive trees, and the crystal-clear sea of the town of Ostuni, in the relaxing tranquillity of the Itria Valley and Alto Salento.

Careful restoration has allowed it to be reborn in all its majesty, emphasised by the whiteness of the white lime and the stone interiors typical of Ostuni farmhouses.

Hospitality is provided in rooms and flats equipped with every comfort and furnished with period furniture in keeping with ancient traditions.

From its seven hectares of land cultivated with imposing centuries-old olive trees, the Masseria Salinola farm draws a high quality extra virgin olive oil: together with the delicacies of its vegetable gardens, these are the main ingredients of the cuisine offered in the cosy typical Apulian restaurant, extolled by the most prestigious culinary guides.

House rules

All the rooms are located in the main building of the old masseria. While a few tens of metres away is an annexe of more recent date where there are two Family Apartments of standard category and not recently renovated. Each of the rooms has independent access from the courtyard.

Hospitality is organised in classic and superior double rooms, in romantic suites for couples or families with children, and in family apartments consisting of a bedroom and a living room with 4/5 beds, all equipped with bathroom with shower, kitchenette, minibar, LCD TV and free Wi-Fi. All equipped with air conditioning.

CLASSIC ROOMS:
The two Family Apartments, which have not been recently renovated, are cosy and well furnished in Apulian style, typical of masserias, with period furniture or salvaged or arte povera furniture. The flats also have a kitchenette.

SUPERIOR ROOMS:
Where white is the dominant colour, we are in one of our newly renovated superior rooms, for couples like the Vecchio Deposito, La Pergola, L'Acquaro, the Suite con Camino or for families like the Suite Aranceto, the Suite della Chiesa, the Suite Alcova and the Suite del Massaro.

Old farm shelters, all with their own story to tell, transformed into charming places, where the objects of rural life on the old farm patinated by time become forms of artistic craftsmanship.

When you reach your destination, follow the signs for San Michele Salentino SP 29 until, after 1.5 km, leaving Ostuni behind, you will see our sign.
Pay attention, ours is the first entrance with the sign "Masseria Salinola."
